I support this. Especially the Google selling Chrome / Chromium part. If it's so important, then Google should relinquish (cede) control over it to the community, and just keep writing the checks.

Honestly, I have no compassion for Apple or Google. I'd be willing to endure a lot of headaches in the name of costing those two companies influence over our society.
